Kwon Daewoong (1962-) is a South Korean poet. He made his literary debut in 1988 when his poem “Yangsurieseo” (양수리에서At Yangsu-ri) was published in the Chosun Ilbo in 1988. He is known as the “moon poet” who writes poetry about the moon and paints the moon. Kim Geun (1973- ) is a South Korean poet. He debuted in 1998 when five poems including “February” won the Munhakdongne New Writer’s Award.

Cho Jihoon (December 3, 1920 – May 17, 1968) was a Korean poet, critic, and activist.

Oh Eun (1982~) is a South Korean poet. He made his literary debut in 2002 when his poems were published in the monthly journal Modern Poetry. Using his unique language, he conveys the exterior and interior of various aspects of people. As if to assert that understanding the world starts with people, his poetic world consists of people. He has received the Park In-hwan Literary Award (2014), Gu Sang Poetry Award (2018), and Daesan Literary Award (2019).

Hwang Jini was a celebrated female entertainer (妓生 gisaeng) and sijo writer who is believed to have been active in the sixteenth century. She excelled in poetry and rhythms; and, based on her talents, she associated freely with prominent figures of the time, including Seo Gyeongdeok (徐敬德, 1489-1546). Unlike the sijo written by the sadaebu (士大夫 the literati), she pioneered her own domain with a novel expression technique, leaving Hansi (漢詩 Chinese character poetry) and six sijo poems.
