He started his career as a writer for educational and variety TV programs. He transitioned to drama writing when his script The Scandal with the Enemy was selected as an honorable mention in the SBS Foundation's screenplay competition. He co-wrote the SBS drama Switch - Change the World. He also wrote the screenplay for the film Memory of Tomorrow, which was selected as a supported project by the CJ Foundation. Additionally, his short story won an award in the Women’s Central romance novel competition.
