This is a novel by Jo Yeonga, published in 2006. It won the 11th Hankyoreh Literary Award. Through the eyes of a 13-year-old boy, this novel tells the story of a family living in an unlicensed rooftop room in a city where urban development is in full swing. It shows the image of a boy growing up with poverty and the absurd daily life behind urban development.
