Published in 2012, this collection of diary entries was written by a Joseon-era scholar, Jung Yakyong, on the subject of his exile and banishment. It was edited by Jung Min, a researcher of classical Korean literature. A historical record of a Joseon-era scholar-in-exile’s innermost thoughts, the diary expresses his concern for his family, his feelings of resentment and bitterness over his banishment, and his observations on nature.
