Kim Insuk is a screenwriter known for her work on numerous dramas, including the Korean TV series 2009 Oeingudan (Strike Love) , the Korean radio drama Yeongeugi Kkeunnan Hu (After the Play is Over), and the Chinese web drama 明星志愿 (Stardom) on iQIYI. In her novel Meokgo Masigo Jara (Eat Drink Sleep), she skillfully blends delightful tones with realistic language, providing a reading experience akin to watching a romantic comedy-drama. The novel not only explores the journey of self-love through relationships as a coming-of-age drama but also resonates with many women, attracting significant interest from drama and film production companies even before its publication. Kim also received a grand prize in the KOCCA Winter Olympics Story Contest for her short play titled SNOWBOW.
