Przeklęty królik (Cursed Bunny) is a global phenomenon, Anton Hur’s English translation was nominated for the International Booker Prize and National Book Award. No wonder: Chung’s stories are a curious blend of grotesque, parables and folklore, with a feminist twist. A mixture that at times shocks or puts off, yet always gets the reader addicted.
