Description 작품 소개

This is the first book in the [Destructive Poems] series, which comprises 100 poems grouped under the title "Destructive Poems on Sense." Each poem contains a footnote that targets two birds: savoring and contemplation, aiming to inspire readers once again.

Following the series on death and enlightenment, this sense series brought together various poems excluded by death and enlightenment subjects. The term ‘sense’ in the title does not carry great implications; however, this one will be far more entertainingly destructive than other series. Many of the poems in “Death” and “Enlightenment” were about looking at things differently, twisted viewpoint. However, many poems in this collection break down common sense, shattering such a sense of negativity and removing heavy clouds of delusion. Among the poet’s many literary assumptions, the poems cover diverse subjects, mostly related to monism and positivity, some of which are as follows:

Conditions of happiness, reality of loneliness, positivity and negativity, anthropocentrism, common fundamentals of religions, consciousness and unconsciousness, hidden structure and framework, temptations, threshold, ability to withhold, responsibility, nature of hermaphroditism, human immortality, charm, pain, passionlessness, uniformity of happiness and unhappiness, meaning of this lifetime, adjective, monism, love, cosmic consciousness, modernity, smile, purity, tolerance and acceptance, God, clergy, world, what’s visible and invisible, subjectivity of being, person in process, slave of success, meditation, womb, life, logic and illogic, The One, accessory of life, ideals of religion, enlarged success, brief life, and mayfly, etc.

[Representative Peoms]

You and me

I was unwittingly separated

Separated into two, one has become you and me

Reassembling us is not easy

Time cannot be turned back

So, space has been set back

The space we were once one

I decided to dig up there

Dug and dug the inner foundation

It might still be the same there

Our foundation inseparable by time

Was still there

As the one

In the depth, the easiest to hide

Happiness from half bowl ramen

I had watery porridge with pickled radish for brunch

My next meal would be ramen

One bowl feeling 2X full than

Half bowl, for today

Will be shared for tomorrow, as usual

Surrogate parent

Let me offer my womb

It's useless to me

Yet, it is essential for another

Let me bestow my womb

Where the seeds grow

With nourishment and warmth

All parents are surrogates

I, too, was born through a surrogate mother

I also will be someone's surrogate

Every person's parents are themselves

They gave birth to themselves

By renting another's womb

Beings become parents of themselves

Though there is a little assistance from surrogate parents

My uterus is meant to be for others

Kids are not kids but their own parents

Beings self-born

From their womb

Within my body but

The only thing that is not mine

My uterus is a house of others

Adverse effects

I made a subtraction, yet got something new

It ended up being an addition

I was sure I had subtracted correctly

Yet, it keeps accumulating, capturing my gaze

An intention of killing me

Saved me after all

The process of death

Led to life in the end

I will have to die zealously

That would be my immortal life

Structure

Staying unmoved amidst moving things

Keeping moving amidst things unmoved

Changing among the unchanging

Unchanging among the changing

A failure amid successes

A success amid failures

From seeing through the veils of hidden aspects

From recognizing the dual structure
