Description 작품 소개

“Love emerges between two people and begins a life of its own. While the love is still alive, two lovers are together—some for a short time, some for a long time. Some love ends and comes back to life again, while some lasts forever.”

LIFE OF LOVE is a novel that talks about everything we can say about love. It delves into the intricate and unpredictable nature of love through the eyes of three characters—Hyung-bae, who yearns for love, yet who fears it at the same time; Young-seok, who is caught up in fierce jealousy within a love triangle; and Jun-ho, a self-proclaimed free-lover and self-proclaimed playboy. This novel captures the raw essence of love as the seemingly ordinary characters fall in love, fall out of love, break up, and start love again. Through these characters, the novel delves into different perspectives on love, relationships, marriage, and commitment, ultimately questioning the very nature of love itself.

The novel gently explores the transformative nature of love—how it has the power to change us and influence our actions in unexpected ways. The novel also features a variety of philosophical reflections on love, contemplating how those who haven’t truly lived question the meaning of life, and those who haven’t truly loved seek to grasp what love is. It implies that the essence of both life and love is discovered not in defining them, but in wholeheartedly living and experiencing them.
