About Event

This is the second edition of the Symposium on Korean Literature at the University of São Paulo. The very first edition of which took place exclusively online in September 2022, with a total of 12 researchers presenting their academic work to an audience of between 250 and 300 people over 2 days via YouTube.
During the three-dayevent, a total of 13 Brazilian and Korean researchers will meet to sharecritical readings and information regarding this Korean cultural production,i.e., the Korean literature written by women.

Undergraduate andpostgraduate students, language and literature teachers and professors,researchers and the public interested in literature, with a special focus on Korean literature available in Brazil, etc., are all welcome to attend the symposium!

- Featured Books: “Como tigres na neve”(Brazilian edition of “Beasts of a Little Land”, by Juhea Kim, by Editora Melhoramentos)
- Featured Writers: Mi Jung Kim (literarycritic) and Juhea Kim (writer)
- Featured Translators: Yun Jung Im

Estudantes de graduação e pós-graduação, professores de língua e literatura, pesquisadores e o público interessado em literatura, com foco especial na literatura coreana disponível no Brasil, etc., são todos bem-vindos ao simpósio!
