Shin Jaehyo (1812-1884) is a pansori theorist and writer from the Joseon Dynasty. He was a chungin (upper middle class) in the Joseon Dynasty but was later granted the status of yangban for his contribution to the country. He gathered pansori experts from each region and appreciated the art with other yangban, even educating people on pansori. He is considered to have played an unparalleled role in the development of the pansori art in the Joseon Dynasty. “Bang-a taryeong” (방아타령 A Miller’s Song) “Oseomga”(오섬가(烏蟾歌) Song of the Crow Island) “Dorihwaga” (도리화가(桃李花歌) Peach Flower Song)

Kim Jun Tae (1948—) is a South Korean poet. His poetry generally unfolds in hometowns and rural villages and is an ode to the vitality of nature and the revolutionary power of the people. He became famous for his poem, “Aa gwangjuyeo, urinaraui sipjagayeo” (아아 광주여, 우리나라의 십자가여 Gwangju, Cross of Our Nation) which testified to the horrors of the May 18 Gwangju Democratization Movement. [1] It was published on the front page of the daily regional newspaper and was later translated into both English and Japanese. [2] He is the deputy director of the National Literature Authors Association and the director of the May 18 Memorial Foundation.

Oh Eun (1982~) is a South Korean poet. He made his literary debut in 2002 when his poems were published in the monthly journal Modern Poetry. Using his unique language, he conveys the exterior and interior of various aspects of people. As if to assert that understanding the world starts with people, his poetic world consists of people. He has received the Park In-hwan Literary Award (2014), Gu Sang Poetry Award (2018), and Daesan Literary Award (2019).
