The author writes the novels they want to read and believes that stories about women, queerness, and labor are needed more in the world. They strive to remember that we are all engaged in our own labor and rely on each other. They began their literary career in 2011 by winning the Daesan Literary Award for their short story "A Night with Five Dogs" and have since published several collections and novels. The author writes to resonate with both the entire world and the heart of a single person.

Han Soo-yeong. Debuted in 2002 when her short story Butterfly won the Joongang Literature Award for New Writers. Awarded the Today’s Writer Award in 2004 with her full-length novel 1/4 of the Void. Her notable collection of novels includes Her Apple Pear Tree, while her full-length novels include Pluto’s Roof, Jo’s Second Map, and Napping, along with the young adult novel Aurora 2-241.

Born in 1939. Graduated from Busan Fisheries University and completed graduate studies at Pusan National University. Served as a professor and president at Pukyong National University, founding CEO of the Busan Cultural Foundation, and scholarly committee chair on the joint South Korean-Japanese UNESCO World Heritage listing of the Joseon Tongsinsa records. Completed recommendations in the modern poetry section for Poetry and Literature in 1974-75. Authored ten poetry collections, including Leaving Traces, and won the New Writer Award for fiction in Literary Research issue 77 (Summer 2013). Published the novel Yumado and several short stories in various literary magazines.

Lee Kyun-young (1951-1996) was a South Korean novelist and historian.

She was born in Seoul in 1978 and graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, Department of Creative Writing. She received the 31st Writer of the Day Award in 2007. As the head of the literary organization Agency Novel, she introduces Korean literature overseas and organizes international literary exchange projects and literary events.
