I Siwon (1973-) is a South Korean playwright who debuted in 2005 with the play “Nokchajeongwon” (녹차정원 The Green Tea Garden), which was awarded the Okrang Theater Prize (옥랑희곡상). I’s writing is praised for its leanness, which amplifies sentiments like loneliness and longing.
