Author Bio 작가 소개
Kim Kwangkyun (1924~1993) was a South Korean poet. He made his literary debut in 1938 with the publication of his poem “Seorya” (설야(雪夜) Snowy Night) in The Chosun Ilbo. As one of Korea’s leading modernist poets, Kim published the literary coterie journals Meridian and Village of Poets, together with So Chong-ju and Yi Yuksa. He is considered to have played a pioneering role in developing Korea’s imagism poetry.
