Gu Soeun
구소은
Gu Soeun (1964-) is a South Korean novelist. She began her literary career in 2013 with the publication of the novel Geomeun morae (검은 모래 Black Sand). In the same year, she won the 1st Jeju April 3 Peace Literature Award with Geomeun morae. For the same novel, she received praise for fictionalizing the tragedy of modern Korean history in terms of a grand discourse. He was born in Pyeongchang, Gangwon State and moved to Chuncheon after completing middle school. He attended Kangwon National University and began writing novels. His novel was selected for the Literary contest in spring, and he began to work.

Born in Hualong City, Jilin Province, China, she graduated from Yanbian University, Faculty of Arts and Letters, and came to Korea in 2011 to complete her graduate studies in Creative Writing at Chung-Ang University. She currently lives and writes in Seoul.
Shin Yeorang

Shin Yeorang (1967~) is a South Korean novelist. She made her literary debut in 200 when her novel Mongguseu keuru (몽구스 크루) won the Sakyejul Literary Award Grand Prize. Choi Myeongik
최명익
Choi Myeongik (1902 – 1972) is a South Korean novelist. In the 1930s, he received attention for his psychological novels which delicately portray everyday life in modern cities and the intellectuals’ feelings of helplessness under the Japanese colonial rule. After Korea’s independence, he remained in North Korea to continue to write novels, and after the 1950s, released several full-length historical novels.
