Baek Mi Sook

Baek Mi Sook is a South Korean children’s writer who debuted through the Seoul Shinmun New Writer’s Contest in 1994 with the story Kkocheun heugeseo pinda (꽃은 흙에서 핀다 Flowers Grow From Soil). In addition to publishing original works, Baek also adapts traditional fairy tales into modern versaions.
