Cho Young Joo

Born in Seoul in 1979, he graduated from the Creative Writing Department at Soongsil University. During middle school, he laid the foundation for his writing skills by adapting his father's comic storyboards, and he made his debut with the parody novel "A Letter from Holmes." After winning various literary contests, he became a full-time writer following his success with "The Red Sofa," which earned him the World Literature Award. He has published novels such as "There is No Twist" and "Hate Suicide," and a short story in the anthology "When Everyone Disappears" is set to be adapted into a film.
