Gong Ji-Young (born 1963) is a South Korean novelist.

Kim Junghyun (1957-) is a South Korean novelist. Formerly a detective in the violent crime division, Kim debuted as a novelist in 1991 with the work Hamjeong (함정 The Trap). Kim is known for detailed depictions of the value of family in times of modern financial crisis and the dissolution of the family unit. Jeong You Jeong (1966 — ) is a South Korean writer. Actively drawing upon elements of genre literature such as mysteries, thrillers, and detective stories, she has written novels centered around the themes of humanity’s “free will” and “evil.” She is notable for primarily writing novels, an unusual decision given the predominance of short stories in Korean literature.

Ahn Junghyo (1941~2023) was a novelist and translator whose works document the scars left on human beings by the violence of state-made wars, such as the Korean and Vietnam wars, and ask the meaning of human life and death through the images of disintegrating rural areas and poor rural people.
