Jung Mikyung received the 30th Yi Sang Literary Award in 2006 for her short story “Divide the Night”, which is also the title story of this collection of stories nominated for the 2006 Yi Sang Literary Award, including works by Kim Young-ha, Kim Kyung-uk, Yoon Sung-hee, Jon Kyongnin, and Ham Jeung Im. In “Divide the Night,” the main character, who is a filmmaker, struggles to overcome the futility and meaninglessness of existence.
