Description 작품 소개

The price of K-Coin, which was soaring through the roof, suddenly tanks. Hyunsoo, known to be a genius developer, suddenly disappears. Investors are furious and related businesses are barely staying afloat.

Starting that day, individuals whom Hyunji, Hyunsoo’s only family and younger sister, has never seen before start appearing out of nowhere. She is swamped preparing for an upcoming ballet competition, but she can hardly practice due to the countless individuals who continue to approach her in search of her brother. However, she has no idea where he has gone because she was never fully aware of her brother’s job. In the midst of this commotion, a man named Jerry approaches Hyunji.

Jerry, who owns a Youtube channel called Bit-King Jerry, explains that he has been Hyunsoo’s friend since middle school, and the two of them are business partners. Having been told that Hyunji must trust Jerry to find Hyunsoo, she reluctantly follows Jerry to Hyunsoo’s apartment. In there, the two of them discover countless surveillance camera screens, making it clear that he was desperately afraid of something. Realizing the severity of Hyunsoo’s situation, Hyunji realizes that, she too, is in danger.

Meanwhile, Seongchul, Hyunsoo’s other business partner and the lead for a team of developers at K-Foundation, realizes that he’s at risk of taking responsibility for everything due to Hyunsoo’s disappearance. Having to protect himself, he offers Jerry a generous amount of money to bring Hyunji to him. Jerry gladly accepts the deal.

Arriving at where Jerry brings her, Hyunji notices a group surround her and instinctively runs away. She manages to escape and dodge the surveillance of this unknown group of individuals before successfully finishing her competition.

Jerry appears again and explains what had happened, to which Hyunji reluctantly accepts and decides to join him again to find Hyunsoo despite being cautious of him.

The two visit an old place where Hyunsoo had once lived and attempted suicide, and there they discover videos filmed by Hyunsoo in ways they cannot understand. Soon, they realize that these are messages left by Hyunsoo.

Shocking news is shared, for the blockchain-based Ubermancy Project is said to have started in Dubai. In fact, this was something Hyunsoo and Seongchul had prepared in secret. To make matters worse, investigative authorities tighten their grip on Seongchul and K-Foundation.

Meanwhile, Hyunji and Jerry leave the country in search of Hyunsoo. His messages continue to change, making the two travel from Korea to Hong Kong, Hong Kong to Dubai, and from Dubai to France while running away from those who are chasing them. However, they are faced with yet another threat when they meet a man who gives off a shockingly violent vibe, engulfing them with fear they had yet to experience from others. Hyunsoo’s location disappears into the shadows again, and Hyunji is left more confused than ever. What is this enormous case hiding, and can she really trust Jerry and Hyunsoo?
