About Event

There are two sessions with Kim Sang-hyun: “Kepulangan: Mengurai Benang Merah Asia—Homecoming: Untangle the Connection Thread of Asia” and “Sepanjang Hayat: Memahami Khawatir untuk Hidup (Sedikit) Lebih Baik—For A Lifetime: Understanding the Worries for (Little) Better Life (Book Launch of Apa Saja yang Bisa Kulakukan Selama Aku Hidup? — You are the One Who Can Do Anything After All.)”
The Asian Book Festival was held with the spirit of equalizing access to reading and celebrating the love of Asian books and culture. “Kepulangan—Homecoming” is the chosen theme to symbolize our return to direct encounters, and return to our home and land: Asia. Nine days long, we want to welcome all of you to home: readers, writers, publishers, and whoever has love for Asian books and culture. Kepulangan: Mengurai Benang Merah Asia
In the first session, Kim Sang-hyun, together with three other Asian writers will share their thoughts about society’s expectations that often feel suffocating. They will also share about how they make the sound in creative way by writing and storytelling. 

Sepanjang Hayat: Memahami Khawatir untuk Hidup (Sedikit) Lebih Baik
Whereas in the second session, Kim sang-hyun will launch the newest Indonesian version of his book. He will share his process of making this book.

아시안 북 페스티벌은 독서에 대한 접근성을 평등하게 하고 아시아 책과 문화에 대한 사랑을 기념하자는 취지로 개최되었습니다. 'Kepulangan—Homecoming'은 직접적인 만남과 고향과 땅으로의 귀환을 상징하는 의미로 선택된 주제이며 9일 동안 독자, 작가, 출판인 그리고 아시아의 책과 문화를 사랑하는 모든 이들을 고향, 즉 아시아로 모시고자 합니다.우리 모두 아시아에 대해 더 많이 읽고, 더 많이 알아가요!*하단의 행사 시간은 인도네시아 서부 표준시를 따릅니다.

홈커밍: 아시아의 소통의 실타래를 풀어내다
첫 번째 세션에서는 김상현 작가가 다른 세 명의 아시아 작가와 함께 숨 막히게 느껴지는 사회의 기대에 대한 생각을 나눕니다. 또한 글쓰기와 스토리텔링을 통해 창의적인 방식으로 소리를 만들어내는 방법에 대해서도 공유할 예정입니다. 

한평생: (조금) 더 나은 삶을 위한 걱정을 이해하다
두 번째 세션에서는 김상현 작가가 인도네시아어판 신작을 발표할 예정입니다. 그는 이 책을 만드는 과정을 공유할 예정입니다.
