About Event

The Cultural Institute of Asia and Iberoamerica (FCAI), together with the Fiesta del libro y la cultura de Medellín, ITM University, and Centro Cultural Los Andes, is organizing a Korean Culture Week in Bogotá and Medellín to promote Korean culture in Colombia. In particular, Korean author Kim Geum-sook will be invited to Colombia to give lectures at various venues so that people can hear her talk and purchase her books at the exhibition tables.

Medezin Korean Culture Week _ ITM Global City 2023.

For 10 days, it brings together different organizations that promote reading in the city, local, national and international authors, various artistic programs, conversations, talks and forums, as well as the participation of bookstores, independent and university publishers, major publishing houses, and invited cities and countries. The event, the largest of its kind in Latin America, gathers participants every year around the theme of literature. 

Bogotá 2023 Cultural Week _ Los Andes Cultural Center

This is a domestic internationalization strategy promoted by ITM with the support of strategic allies at the national and international level, focused on strengthening the institutional culture of internationalization in the urban environment.
From September 11 to 14, the city will host the 12th edition of Vive Korea 2023 - Creative Industries, with South Korea as the host country, promoting interregional cooperation and exchange through more than 25 academic and cultural activities.

Semana Cultural de Corea en Medellín _ Ciudad Global 2023 de ITM

Durante 10 días se reunirán diferentes entidades de promoción de lectura de la ciudad, autores locales, nacionales e internacionales, una variada programación artística, conversaciones, charlas, foros; además de la participación de librerías, editoriales independientes y universitarias, grandes editoriales y ciudades o países invitados. Semana Cultural en Bogotá 2023 _ Centro Cultural Los Andes

Es una estrategia de internacionalización en casa promovida por el ITM con el apoyo de aliados estratégicos a nivel nacional e internacional, enfocada en el fortalecimiento de la cultura de la internacionalización institucional en un entorno de ciudad.
Del 11 al 14 de septiembre estaremos realizando la doceava versión del evento Vive Corea 2023 – Industrias Creativas, en donde tendremos a Corea del sur como país invitado, para promover la cooperación y el intercambio entre regiones, a través de más de 25 actividades académicas y culturales. https://www.itm.edu.co/internacionalizacion/ciudad-global/
