This collection of poems by Oh Sae-young was published in 2012. It contains 60 poems selected by the poet, such as “Searching for You” and “Words of Parting.” Since publishing his debut collection of poems in 1970, the poet has composed poetry extolling the virtues of moderation and balance. His poetic style is metaphysical but also full of vitality.
Oh, Sae-young (1942~) is a South Korean poet. He made his literary debut in 1968 by publishing his poem “Jam kkaeneun chusang” (잠 깨는 추상 Awakening Abstract) in the literary magazine Hyundae Munhak. Oh’s poetry explores the meaning and values of life through nature and order, and considers nationalism based on his perception of existence. 오세영(1942~)은 한국의 시인이다. 1968년 《현대문학》에 시 <잠 깨는 추상>이 추천되어 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 존재론적 인식을 토대로 민족주의를 고찰, 자연과 질서를 통해 삶의 의미와 생명의 가치를 모색하는 작품들을 발표했다. 소월시문학상, 정지용문학상을 수상했다.
