About Event
Manchester in Translation celebrates the city's language diversity along with all things literary translation with a series of talks, panels and workshops.
Manchester in Translation 2024 is an opportunity for budding translators – or those with a passion for languages – to develop practical skills for literary translation, learn about the intersection between writing and translation, and consider translation as a political tool.
The FREE online conference will run over three days from the 19th to the 21st of February. It will include a keynote from translator of Korean-English, Anton Hur, two-panel events and three workshops focusing on literary translation from German, Bengali and Arabic into English.
